lonkm Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Any body catching any crappie? Are the brush piles working or are you spider rigging? Getting hungry for a fresh mess!
Mike Worley Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 lonkm we have been catching a few keeper sized crappies on the bruspiles using 1oz jigging spoons. Pretty sure minnows would catch'em there also. Been markin'em 12'-20'deep over the brushpiles.

Mike Worley Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Yes I do but mostly in the spring time. The smaller size Flicker Shads seem to work pretty good for me.
