Members hollinlinda Posted July 18, 2010 Members Posted July 18, 2010 My partner and I are new to the area and were told that Taylor Bridge on the Little Sac River is a good spot, but we have no idea how to get there. Can someone please tell me where it is at. I live in Springfield near sunshine and national. Thanks. Also, where can you fish on the niangua river, is it any good? We have tried mcdaniels lake and never caught anything. The only spot we seem to catch fish is a spot on little sac river that we have gone wading. But we have had zero luck at mcdaniel, fellows, and springfield lake. We want to fish tomorrow morning early.

Sorry for the late reply to do you any good for today, but, I haven't been on the computer for a day or so. Anyway, the easiest way for me to tell you how to get to Taylor Bridge is to go north through Willard on 160. As you are about to pass through Willard, Hwy 123 goes off to the right to Walnut Grove. Follow 123 through Walnut Grove and you will see Hwy 215 turning off to the right toward Morrisville. There is an older looking convenience store on the right hand side at 215 and the turn is just past the store. Follow 215 until you come to SE 60, a farm road. I think it is SE 60, it is something 60. There is an old and abandoned red brick house with a tall chain link fence with what appears to have been tennis courts with lights around it on the right hand side of SE 60 after you make the turn. Follow this road until you come to a "T" and turn right. This will lead you to Taylor Bridge not too far from the turn. You will cross the bridge and there is a gravel/dirt road that turns back to the right that will take you back under Taylor Bridge. Hope this helps.
