When fishing for Bass in 30-40 feet at Table Rock, is there any typical color for plastics that usually work for different seasons.. I know this question isnt very specific, but I come from small dirty lakes where we pitch into brush & laydowns in 5 feet of water.. Fishing TRs mostly clear water & bass fishing in 40 feet depths ?.. wow, mind blowing !!

Well believe it or not stained water can be found on TR. But your partially correct by believing TR is a clear lake... Well most of the lake is. If the water is clear you want to match the hatch. Just like any other lake. If your in stained water throw a little brighter colors. As for 30'-40' deep i would throw Green Pumpkin 4" or 5" Plastic Craw on a 3/8 standup jig head. You could also throw a 10"-12" worm. You could throw a Jigging spoon "white" in color for clear water.

As for flipping/Pitching in shallow water can be done and yes you can catch decent fish.. But the odds of catching 3.5lb + LM are going to be less than fishing ditches/channel swings in deeper water. Don't get me wrong, i have within the last two weeks caught a couple over 3lbs in 2 feet of water. But they were tucked up tight to submerged trees/bushes. And in more less stained water.

Yep, TR can be a very tough lake to fish. Especially when your new to the lake.

Good Luck and Have a blast!
