RSBreth Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I was having good luck on fly rod popper, and on a spit'n'image topwater in a light, almost clear color. But by 9 a.m. or so the smallmouth hit subsurface lures like flukes and floating jerkbaits better. On the Finley this has been true, also.
