I just counted 40 plus people on Gene's Resort Norfork River camara. The camara refreshes every 30 seconds and pans upriver and downriver. Could all these people be the main reason for the decline of trophy fish on the Norfork? It sure can't help I would think. Take a look for yourself on the camara--Gene's Resort then click on the live camara link. What do you think could help this river regain it's potential?

OK... Opinion only... And that with a dollar might get you a cup of coffee... But here goes...

It's not so much the number of people fishing the Norfork tail waters, but the regulations in place that are hurting the fishery plus the lack of respect by some people for the fishery itself. Not to mention the recent events that have hurt the stream - flooding and runoff from a certain development. The Norfork can take some pressure, but there is a need for a wider C&R area to help the trophy fish get bigger.

There have been long drawn out discussions on what is best for the Norfork. I fear the almighty dollar is going to eventually ruin this great stretch of water...
