Just watched our good friend Brian Wise (aka "Soopah Stah") on the Outdoor Channel "Outfitters" program. They were fishing the North Fork of the White with Project Healing Waters at the River of Life Farm in Dora, MO.

Great job, Brian!! Also some others you may know including the other ROLF guides, Kyle Kosovich, and Rusty Doughty plus PHW dudes Rick Trowbridge, John Richerson, and Russ Doughty.

It will be on again Saturday, August 7 @ 1:30 pm cdt...

I really liked the show. The couple are members of Ozarkflyfishers club here in St Louis. Nice couple. Glad to see they had a great day fishing. Good show and great exposure of the NFOW.

Mike and Lori WHACKED the fish that day.....it was awesome. Funny thing though, Mike said "We bring bad weather with us" and told me about being at Montauk when the big flood came through and so on. The evening after they caught all those fish for the Outdoor Channel cameras.....a tornado comes through. All was well but it did bump the water up for when we filmed with the vets.

It was our pleasure hosting Project Healing Waters and getting a chance to take those guys on a trip.

What's are the names of the people you fished with? Met a couple who are married up here at Cabela's sunday morning. They are on the outdoor channel also. They're hunters. Chief's kids got autographs. We had a great time... I've seen'um on TV.

Like the last shows, we self-hosted this show. The couple was a couple from St Louis (Mike and Lori Ott) that had actually bid on a guide trip that I donated to Ozark Fly Fishers. The crew got to ROLF a day early and asked if they could film my guide trips that I had booked and Mike and Lori were cool enough and said they didn't care. They can fish too! :goodjob:

Awesome Brian! Floated your stretch as a kid, which was a long time ago. Need to do it again in the future... but would probably need a little "guideing"..... if I wanted to catch big trout. That day is near. Will bring the wife. I've always usually fished from Hale down to Hammond for smallies. Caught some nice one's up there, but it'd be cool to have a little help on some big bow's or browns. Realize we are spin fisherman.
