Flyflinger Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I am looking into buying a hook sharpener. Any suggestions? There is no limit to what a man can do or how far he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit
flytyer57 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I am looking into buying a hook sharpener. Any suggestions? I carry a fingernail file that is diamond coated. It's light weight and small. If you don't want to raid your wifes personal effects, get a small diamond file from the local hardware store. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

Trav Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I have a pen sharpener made by Berkley. It does a fair job for on the spot fixes. I personally prefer to change the hooks out instead whenever possible. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
