Well after the great Friday night I decided to go after it again but with the radar looking the way it did we left the boat at home. Rodney and I got down there at around 7 pm and talked to Rick and Jim and they both said that it had been pretty slow But I had a new 2 wt and wanted to break it it in the right way. We started fishing around 8 and the fish were midging so right out of the gate I put on a crackle back on and first cast caught a fish. Rodney would stack up 6 fish before I would catch another. I would then put a # 20 cream midge and that was the ticket before I would take a break to get night time rods ready I would catch about 7 fish nothing real big but a great time on the 2 wt.

I looked at Rodney and its time to change our set up and start fishing at night. To make long story short I think that is the earliest that I have evere left Taney 12 am not a good night pretty slow and small fish. I think form abot 10 till the time we left I had 10-15 fish and they were small. There were several fish if I would combine there length I would of had 1 20 inch fish. I was fishing a zonker and the retrive was slow. Several were caught with the fly just sitting on the bottom. Several people were down there last night and I hope that it was better for them. I gusses that is why we call it fishing and not hooking. Good luck and and catch a big one today guys.
