Members kkparks_3 Posted June 20, 2006 Members Posted June 20, 2006 Guys, I'm an Arkie who will be visiting Bull Shoals Lake near Theodosia next weekend. Since most of the lake time will probably be swimming and skiing with the wife's family, I was wanting to know some good smallie water that I could wade and/or use my float tube in. I see on the map that there are a couple of creeks running in to Bull Shoals near Theodosia, but I don't know if they are good fishing or not. I'm a catch and release only guy and would really appreciate any info you could give me. Thanks, Kevin
Brian Wise Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Kevin, The little creeks that run into Bull Shoals close to Theodosia do have some decent smallmouth fishing. The little North Fork has some nice smallies in it but no outfitters cover it and landowners frown upon getting to the good water. Your best bet is probably Bryant Creek if you want to do a float for smallies in Ozark County. Twin Bridges Canoe Rental does trips on the Bryant but they are quite a long way away from Theodosia, their phone numbers are (417)256-7507 and (417)256-2726 Brian My Youtube Channel
