Fishing Report 08/16/10 Stockton Lake

Got out for a little bit this evening. Water temp was 85 and teh water was .5 foot low. clarity was about normal.

Caught several walleyes an 1/4 oz pony head jigs with crawlers drifted across the humps and flats in 16 to 20 foot of water. several good fish caught, but lots of lil ones.

Crappie are biting jigs in 20 foot brush piles lake wide. Big fish and great catching. just have to find them brush piless.. I can help if you want to go on a trip, just let me know or I have some cards with brush piles on them that you can get. just give me a call

catfish are good on shad drift fished on the flats in 20 foot or less. several big cats getting taken.

Thanks for the report Bob. Sure seems quiet around here after the PETA topic closed. Guess everyone got mad. Maybe that means now we can get back to fishing!

When is the fish off for the Thursday night sea kittens, I mean, tournament?

the sea kitten fish off is oct 9th, safe light to 3pm ruark bluff.

all kittens will need to be 15" long, and please treat all sea kittens with respect. Don't talk bad to them just because they are smaller sea kittens.

This is the end of the year tournament, team format, and you must have qualified AND have your partner in the boat with you (this is just to clarify since we had a problem last year)

I will post everything about the tournament in another week or so, but it is oct 9th.
