Hey hows it going! Just stumbled across this site the other day so I figured I'd join. I'm fairly new to fishing. I've been chasing largemouth for about 2 years now. I'm originally from the Kansas City area, but I now live in good ol' Springfield as a student. I want to start catching some of these beautiful Ozark smallmouth I've heard such great things about. Any pointers on where I can find some good bass fishing around the Springfield area would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard! Interesting choice for a name.. lol

Try coming down to the Gasconade or the Osage Fork for good smallie action.. Someone mentioned "Straight" creek, but I'm not finding it on my map.. Found a "crooked" creek.. .... ....
