Kansas Fly Fisher Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Mini Jigs - use marabou or hen hackle for the tail and thread for the body. You can also tie a bugger jig with them. Just think wooley bugger with a jig head. Hope this helps. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
Members bowfin47 Posted June 28, 2006 Members Posted June 28, 2006 For Bream fishing, try Michael Verduin's Cap Spider. It's a great pattern!! Instructions can be found under Fly of the Month on the Pineyoods Fly Fishers website at: http://home.sprynet.com/~waltermc/
Members Stuartwp Posted June 30, 2006 Members Posted June 30, 2006 Wrap the hook shank with a pecock herl or two, with or without a maribou tail. Add a soft hackle collar, brown, black or my own favorite, grizzly. If the trout won't cooperate, the bluegills will.
