I Put in at Aunts Creek yesterday, rounded the corner past pt 10. Thought I saw a large school of white bass busting shad on top, as I got closer I found out it was huge school of long nose gar just ripping in to the shad, right in the middle of the lake. I have seen Long nose gar before just never seen them attack a school of shad like that. I never did hook one, but did have a few chase my grub..

Yep. They take over an area and scare away the bass.

Also, an older gentleman on the white, had a 7 footer on one day. Ripped open his arm when he tried to get his lure out of the gar's mouth.
