Coldspring Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I'm a little curious if someone would be interested in trading their 9 foot 6-weight rod for my Temple Forks Outfitters Professional 7'6" 5-weight, 4-piece rod.
Zack Hoyt Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I have a 9' 6wt TFO Pro. what kind of shape is your shorty rod in? Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
Coldspring Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 I have a 9' 6wt TFO Pro. what kind of shape is your shorty rod in? That might be a good trade. It's in pretty decent shape. Used, not abused.
Coldspring Posted October 22, 2010 Author Posted October 22, 2010 Broke another TFO fly rod this week, now I really need to trade off my 7.5' rod!
flytyer57 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Broke another TFO fly rod this week, now I really need to trade off my 7.5' rod! Sounds like you're too rough on your TFO rods. What kind of warranty do they come with? Ever think of sending them back for repairs? I broke my St. Croix Avid series 9' 5wt 4pc and it cost me all of $40 to send it to them and send it back. Shipping is all I had to pay for. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Trout Commander Posted October 23, 2010 Posted October 23, 2010 Through TFO you pay shipping to them and send 'em $25 and they fix/replace and ship back. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
