I saw a lot of bass boats heading to Pomme Wednesday AM.

Does anyone know why?

That is why I saw so many boats out there.....hmmm....what was the winning weight? Anyone know?....I could have taken in 12 pounds easily if I was in it.....

Was the tournament out of a place called Lightfoot or lighthouse? And the lake is down so the corps. can work on ramps. What are the bass biting on since the lake is being drawn down?

That would have beat me for the day. What an impressive weigh in. Pomme is truly turning out some great fishing this fall.

It is the dam which is being worked on....the ramps are just a side project since it is down. The only work I have noticed being done on the ramps is some clearing on sediment removal....have you observed anything else?

As far as the bass bite....The bait fish are confused. They have no cover to hide in and the bass are taking advantage of it. Think anything which matches shad and minnows. Right now it is a no brainer. Fish any cover you can find with clear water and you will catch fish.
