fishinSWMO Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I took the boys to some ponds last weekend to do some bass fishing. The fish were biting very well, it didn't seem to matter what you were using. Caught quite a few on white spinnerbaits just off the banks. The boys did well using soft plastic worms. Went to the creek today and fishing was tough. I fished for 5-6 hours and maybe caught 10 fish. Jerkbait, crankbait, hair jig, and plastic worms caught fish. Got lucky and caught a couple decent fish, just had to search for good looking spots, and skip the rest. Jeremy Dodson

Buzz Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Very nice fish boys and Dad. The big fish are biting right now. I found some nice fish Tuesday evening after work. Biggest was about 3.5 lbs., but if you weren't in the thick stuff you didn't get bit. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
