Members phins Posted October 12, 2010 Members Posted October 12, 2010 Water is about normal level with a green/blue tint. Fishing was extremely tough. Threw every color and lure that was available. Finally got into some fish about 10:30. The answer was a gray nymph with a gold thread band. Fish were nice size though with 2 going over 2 lbs. Didn't see any browns caught so perhaps the weather has them holding in the river yet. Finally gave up at 12:00 with 5 rainbows brought in and released. There was a little puff of a breeze bringing in a few clouds around 10:00 so maybe that made the fish want to co-operate. The barometer is your friend? A good finish to an extremely slow start.
