shaker Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Myself and fishing partner picked up a couple of limits of nice crappie yesterday. About any creek arm 3/4 of the way back in about 6 to 10 ft. deep. Black and chartreuse jigs, seem to be somewhat scattered only had one tree that we caught two crappie on, caught a few dragging a jig behind the boat. Didn't find any real shallow and shad everywhere. Water temp. was about 66 to 68 degrees. If this weather holds for a while some of the best fishing of the year is about to happen. Good luck

Jigfisherx Not yet been wanting to go just having a hard time pulling myself away from the lake fishing. Pulled in another really nice limit yesterday fishing the creeks up in the 10' to 6' of water big ole crappie. Had my limit by 10:30 saw two other boats. The fishing should be getting great on the rivers and creeks the water temps are getting right. Look for shad.
