Flyflinger Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I have an old fiberglass fly rod that need some repair. I would really like to have it stripped down and rebuilt completely..if thats at all possible. The most important thing is that we get this rod fishing again. It is my wife flyrod...her Grandfather gave her this rod when he died. This is the rod she grew up with..fishing countless hours alongside her Grandfather Bert. Its is very special to her and I would like to see it in her hands again on the river. So who can I send it to? Or what should I do...I am in no ways able to take on this project personally. I have attached a few pictures of the rod for observation. Its in generally good shape..I think at one time the tip must have been broke off...other than that its not cracked or anything. Hopefully I can get it in her hand on our aniversary in March. Thanks guys.. There is no limit to what a man can do or how far he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit
