Gatorjet Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Either nobody fishes the lower lake (doubt that!) or it is the local's best kept secret! Real men go propless!
Members fishbobber Posted October 21, 2010 Author Members Posted October 21, 2010 well I am heading that way in the morning...Those 8 inchers around the Landing and Monkey Island are not much to talk about! Wonder where all the little guys come from?
Trout Commander Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 well I am heading that way in the morning...Those 8 inchers around the Landing and Monkey Island are not much to talk about! Wonder where all the little guys come from? I see quite a few of those little guys in those concrete ditches on both sides of Hatchery Rd on my way to fish the trophy area. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
back2roots Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Well...it's not a secret. But I like to fish just barely on the Taney side of the dam at Powersite. A lawn chair, my tunes and a cooler w/ munchies & soda. A GREAT day! Bill If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
