Hunter91 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Fished from 8am to 130pm on the Big Sac arm out of Ruark Bluff. Caught 20 crappie only had 7 keepers. Caught all the keepers and shorts except two on live minnows. Caught those two on swimming minnows tipped with crappie nibblets. Most of the fish came about 10-15ft down over about 30fow. Also caught a 15in largemouth and short largemouth on topwater when they came up chasing near the boat. It did get a little windy out there today.
nxs Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Hunter did you all have your seat belt on?? it must have been a rough ride yesterday
Hunter91 Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Not bad when I first got out there but going in was like riding a bull!!
Martin Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Not to hijack a post, but I want to say hi to an old friend......Hi there NXS !! Tell Ralph hi....Not to leave Hunter91 out, but we bump into each other all the time on our walleye spots......lol... So, hi Gary, Ralph, and Mark ! mF (TR)
Hunter91 Posted October 31, 2010 Author Posted October 31, 2010 No problem Martin. Good luck in the upcoming deer season.
nxs Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Hey Marty. You ever get off the Rock?? Stockton has been making us work this year.
Martin Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Hi Gary ! I rarely get to Stockton since it's about 2 hours away.....I can stay here or be at Bull Shoals in about one hour. Hard to drive 2 when one will do. I hope things will pick up for you guys... I all honesty, I haven't been out much. I stay busy watching all the great posts on Ozarkanglers. I'm not too far off from retirment day, then lookout. I'll be the guy fishing everyday that can't catch diddly.......lol
nxs Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 We're planning on doing some trips down your way this winter maybe we can all meet some where one morning when you're not quite so busy, and wet a hook or two. Ralph retired last winter and fishes way more than me. I just can't go as much as I want. I hear you about the not catching. We fought a losing battle last year at Stockton for some reason but have changed things a little and it's a bunch better this year. Is Jonesey still out fish'n??
Martin Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Jonesey's health went bad on him....He moved back to Kansas so his kids could care for him. Hard to lose a fishing buddy.
