Some Days Its Chicken-Some Days Its Feathers

Wife and I went yesterday. We didn't knock'em dead but did catch a few. The last hour before dark she caught 3 nice blur gills, then it was my turn and I caught one. We stayed till dark and were trolling around a point when I caught a 221/2 in walleye. Than just a few seconds later I caught a 14 1/4 in brownie. Turned it loose cause I don't keep them even if they are legal size. Today was feathers, Caught one blue gill the several LMB shorts and to top it off 4 gar about 4 ft long. At least I got a good pull on my line. Some eating fish later I hope. Where are the crappie?
