Members Wally eye Posted November 7, 2010 Members Posted November 7, 2010 I have spent a lot of time fishing stockton this summer, KC Bear and myself did pretty good early in the year but the last couple of trips, not so well. I usually fish the CC arm especially the south bank. KC Bear likes the North end. One quick story: last summer my brother in law from Illinois came back and we went to Stockton lake. One of the little coves just past the bridge had a lot of activity for some reason, so we made a pass. I was dragging on line and casting another. As luck would have it, I had a serious fish on both lines. I landed the 22" walleye and went for the other line. I got him (another walleye to the boat and he was as big if not bigger that the one already in the boat. We did not move and about every cast I caught a Keeper, 19" bass, 3lbs white bass, croppie. It was like a royal flush in poker. True story. I think a school of mix fish had them minnows in that cove and decided they were not going to get out. I use a 1/4" oz lead head (green) 2' single tail jig. Always have and always will use that jig cuase you never know what you are going to catch and how big. Throw back the little ones.
