Members Carl Childers Posted November 19, 2010 Members Posted November 19, 2010 Hi folks. Trying to get some info on open buddy tournaments for 2011. I have an out of state friend coming summer 2011 wanting to fish in an open tournament (daytime). It would be his first one. Trouble is, all I have found so far are night time or trail type events. Does anyone know where I might find a daytime open buddy bass tournament for summer 2011? Any leads would be most helpful. Thanks Email: sutsus@hotmail.com
Gone Fishing Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 The best and easiest way to find a tourny is to look at the regatta for Table Rock. There are so many tourny's on there surely you can find one that you are interested in. They should have a contact number on there also.
Donna G Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Here's the regatta link. Just put in the lake of your choice. http://www.mswp.dps.mo.gov/regattas/regsearch.asp I wouldn't let the trail-type events put you off. A lot of anglers just potshot individual tournaments on a circuit schedule at a lake of their choice. You don't have to fish the whole series. Of course, many of these require an annual membership fee and you might not want to pay that, plus entry for one tournament. Some of the membership fees are pretty reasonable, though. Good luck.
