Zach Bearden Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Come on... Lets see them big fish you catch down here. I don't care what species it is. I just wanna see some pheesh! Maybe it's not even a big fish. Maybe you caught one that was so gorgeous you just couldn't pass up a photo. I'll start it off with one that I had a blast catching. Strippin a big slumpie on the back side of the island in the summertime. I have a picture of a HUGE bow from the gravel pits on my phone, I'll try and upload it later too. fly2fish Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Zach you know that pic is really just a shameless plug for Backcountry Outfitters Next time turn your hat around backwards. Nice LIR fish though. You and DaddyO need to post more pics from there(to take some of the pressure of Taney) or maybe I need to start fishing LIR more. F2F

DaddyO Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Good Idea Zach. Here's one that I caught in the Watts Area on a #16 Black Zebra Midge: Here's one that I caught right below the Dam Parking lot on a Bob White: Here's one that I caught at the T&M Gravel Pits area on a Turkey Biot Bodied Soft Hackle: DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.

Bill Butts Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Hey Zach, Great idea to engage your fellow LIR fishers. Attached is a photo of a nice Striped Trout that was caught and released in the lower stretch of the Watts Access on a 100 degree summer day. Can't recall the specific pattern, but probably not a size 22 Emerger. You have a great home water fishery in your backyard! Keep up your great local LIR enthusiasm! Zach Bearden Posted December 22, 2010 Author Posted December 22, 2010 NOW THAT'S A FISH!!! I love those goofy things. I can't hardly catch them half the time.
