I may go Sunday. What time do you think you will be there? Where do you go in at?

No later than 9:00am, I park at 31 st. and walk across the ped. bridge and walk down under the flag.

Sounds good. You mind if I fish with you on Sunday? I figured I might ask since I never did. I think we met one time last summer at the LIR.

Saturday evening I took one of my dogs for a walk on the center sandbar from 41st to the dam & back. I only saw one guy fishing. He was fishing the West side of the dam around 3:30. Didn't see him hook up on anything. Great day to be out. Saw a red fox & a bald eagle. Found a few fossils and a nice piece of petrified wood but no wooly mammoth teeth. I've got the fever to do some fishing!

Hopper, how did you do on Sunday? I couldn't make it down but I definitely would love to try my luck down there. Never really fly fished for anything but trout.

First time I've ever been skunked. Water was lowest I've ever seen(both spilway gates were all the way down) and the water temp was 39 deg. nothing moving, I literally walked right up to some gar and bumped them with my boots and they just barely moved off.

Went down to the soccer fields area yesterday evening for a few hours and got skunked. Only action was a few gar & sponnies. Water was super low. They hadn't generated anything since Thursday night.
