Members Clouser.minner Posted December 28, 2010 Members Posted December 28, 2010 Can you get a boat in below Webbers Falls? Anyone ever fish that area? Thanks in advance.
Zach Bearden Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Webber has a boat ramp right there in town. If you put in and head upstream you can get to the dam in just a few minutes. I know a lot of guys mainly fish it for catfish but and sometime Walleye are in the rocks under the dam. Other than that I'm clueless lol "Its clearly Bree time baby!" Members Clouser.minner Posted December 29, 2010 Author Members Posted December 29, 2010 cool, found it on google earth i was hoping it would be a good striper spot during the spring....
Zach Bearden Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I've heard some things about stripers up there. Something about the big 2/0 hooks with the bucktail and chenille in a line with a sinker on the bottom and tossing it upstream and jigging it down. But if you go to the mouth of the Illinois river they sit in that transition area sometimes. "Its clearly Bree time baby!" Member: 2009 U.S. Youth Fly-Fishing Team.
