Forsythian Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Got out for a couple of hours yesterday on the Elbow arm. I took some time out from my busy day of getting absolutely SKUNKED to retreive a wiggle wart from a stickup. It was tangled pretty good in an old rope, so I cut a baseball-sized chunk out of the whole mess and brought it home. Well, upon closer inspection it looks like there were 4 or 5 zebra mussels fixed to that rope. So before I bug my local conservation agent, I am wondering whether this is old news and I'm out of the loop? Or is this a bad surprise? Cenosillicaphobiac

Wayne SW/MO Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I know that there was a spot below Powersite that would cut like a razor blade, including heavy braid. I often wondered if it wasn't zebras. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
taxidermist Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Found around Leadhill several years ago. There has been warnings about washing and bleaching the boat before using in another body of water. Bull may get cleared up like it was 40years ago!! If it does then its going to take a lot of brush piles to make habitat.
