The weather has been beautiful this week with slightly cooler days and cool breezy nights. Some good keeper crappie coming in this week on shiners and Slab Hunters. As usual lots of smaller ones to contend with as well. Docks in the Old Channel as well as down by the Swinging Bridge have hot. Walleye have been showing up a little down stream as well. Some folks also doing well trolling the humps up on Truman. Hybrid and whites are really surfacing this time of year. Quite a few being caught, but for the amount of surface activity you'd think you'd be limited in a few minutes. They are chasing the new hatch of shad that are out there in massive schools. So try to find something to resemble the hatch and you'll probably see more action. The Catfish have continued to bite well. A few less of the 30 lb plus reported this week, but lots of 1-15 pound.

We fished from the dam to 66MM. Mainly drifted shad on rod & reel. The bite was slow but you could get'em in around 15 feet of water. Also threw out 15 noodles to help the bite. Ended up getting 16 nice white cats. All in all not a bad couple a days but could've been better. See ya all in same place same time next weekend.
