fox_76 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 While camping this weekend I noticed alot of boats fishing off one of the points at master campground loop c, it is a very very shallow point/ sand bar that extends into the lake a couple hundred feet and is only about waist deep, i even saw a sail boat get hung up on it and he was about 200ft out! but there was alot of fishing activity right on that sand bar, were they going for whites maybe? powerdive Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Fox, all species use that bar. We took 2nd in the MWAA walleye tourney last month fishing that area. The Little Sac channel runs about 60 feet deep through there, and actually brushes against the nose or tip of that bar. Crappies, shad and white bass are continually migrating past, so it can be a great spot at times...
fox_76 Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 thanks powerdive, i was just curious and hey, good job in the tourney! I didn't go to college,... I was too busy learning stuff. --Ted Nugent
