Hopper Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 fished yesterday and it was great, arrived at 9:00 looked like the water been off for awhile. Parked at the first gravel lot below the dam. Fished upstream at the rocks and the long pool, used a #16 red psycho prince nymph attractor with a black #20 poision tung dropper, and a #20 two tone red and tan zebra W/black prism collar both droppers caught alot of fish, nothing huge but the action was worth the drive and cold. Saw three other people all day, it was cold starting out but it warmed up nice around noon, just enough breeze to keep the surface broken up. Alot less snow around Gore than what Tulsa recieved. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of your setup from yesterday would you? I'd like to see exactly what you were catching them on. Thanks in advance. Gregg Here are the flies I used, the midges were tied on the bend of the hook, 18" +- under the psyco prince, and the prince was suspended about 3' under an indicator, so your midge will be 4 1/2' down. I use a yarn indicator, they seen alot more sensitive Gregg The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing.
