which end of truman is better for crappie fishing in april warsaw or bucksaw marina end

I'm not sure what you mean by Warsaw? Are you asking about the lower end of Truman lake or the upper end of the Ozarks? If you are asking about the lower end of Truman lake then I would vote for Bucksaw in April with the lower end of Truman getting better in May. If asking about the upper end of the Ozarks {Truman tail water) then it can be really good anytime the Corps is running water from early spring into early summer.

The lower end of Truman I will be at long shoal marina.

Thats a great area to fish with lots of creeks and coves with lots of cover. In the small creeks start at the points and work your way to the back. Sometimes you can't fish too shallow on Truman. Bigger creek arms start on the secondary points and small coves and do the same all the way back. 1/16 oz jig with a black and chartreuse tube is hard to beat for a fish catcher. If the fish are real shallow place a bobber a foot to 18 inches about the jig cast up to the bank and slowly retrieve it back.

Good luck!
