went down below the dam today the fishing was very slow i caught 3 white bass and all kinds of gar but no eyes to be found didnt even talk to any one that had any but my buddy that was with me did catch a 60 pound spoonbill on 10 pound test so hopefully it will only get better

ya i think the water needs to warm up about just a little and it will be prime time good luck to you when you get out

we were fishing mostly on the break line of the slack water and the channel but a little out in the channel they were running a little water but not much not the right amount to make it all that good

Thanks for the info. I see that Truman is almost 3.5 feet high this morning. The Corps is running some serious water, 40,000 cfs. That ought to pull some fish upstream. With the water temperature at 38 degrees, maybe the fish will stack up in the slack water.

glad to here truman is coming up should come up even more all the rivers i have seen are high hopefully they keep running water not let it stay in truman so it wont flood the missouri

Water was pretty low when I went. With the new rain, that should get things going. Might head out again this weekend.
