Evolution Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Nice. Seems like things are starting to heat up. Was going to give it a try but may have to wait it out a couple of more weeks.
Members joshgray Posted February 21, 2011 Author Members Posted February 21, 2011 ya i think the water needs to warm up about just a little and it will be prime time good luck to you when you get out
Bill B. Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Hi, Josh, Were you fishing in the slack water or main channel? And was there any water running?
Members joshgray Posted February 22, 2011 Author Members Posted February 22, 2011 we were fishing mostly on the break line of the slack water and the channel but a little out in the channel they were running a little water but not much not the right amount to make it all that good
Bill B. Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Thanks for the info. I see that Truman is almost 3.5 feet high this morning. The Corps is running some serious water, 40,000 cfs. That ought to pull some fish upstream. With the water temperature at 38 degrees, maybe the fish will stack up in the slack water.
Members joshgray Posted February 23, 2011 Author Members Posted February 23, 2011 glad to here truman is coming up should come up even more all the rivers i have seen are high hopefully they keep running water not let it stay in truman so it wont flood the missouri
emjay Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Water was pretty low when I went. With the new rain, that should get things going. Might head out again this weekend.
