I took it to the bass pro repair shop and all they did was break the tip> took it to Forsith and he fixed it with a hair dyrer ( the crook in it ) and fixed the broke tip with a splice. If I had a $200 rod that had a kink in it you better be sure I would be sending it back for a new one? at that price a good warranty is a must.
Members CLINTC Posted March 5, 2011 Author Members Posted March 5, 2011 Yes Bass Pro gave me a $25.00 gift card for the problum but that dont cover the cost of gas from Rogersville to Forsith and the rod has a life time warrenty but it was my falt for the crook in the rod ARMA PREP AND PAINT (FORMALLY!CMC PREP AND PAINT) ARMA COATINGS OF THE OZARKS (417)-725-3873 THANKS CLINT CASE

A $200.00 rod can't be that easy to twist, Store it in the furnace room at temp of 180 for a month? or the rod was wrong right from the start. I would be contacting the CO that made it. Take a Child Fishing they are the future of the sport.

No way that's your fault.....isn't that where you are supposed to keep your rods? With a lifetime warranty, I would be on the horn with the company....if they stand behind their product, you will be taken care of.
