Opening Day Trip Report

I'm one of the idiots that was proud to participate in the opening day festivities at BSSP. While the high water conditions put a damper on our river fishing the entire trip the spring branch cleared up enough to give us some great fishing. Being a midweek opener the crowds were gone by Wednesday afternoon and we found most of our spots to be pretty empty of people. Good times with good friends , that's what it's all about.

Thanks for posting. Really enjoyed reading your blog. Sure makes it seem like our first trout trip of the year in april is a looooong time away.
