DaddyO Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I have a lot of fun with Elk Hair Caddis flies catching Bluegill on the local ponds. It's like the seal shark attacks when they jump up out of the water and crash down on the Caddis. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.

I know that we are getting off topic here, but when you fish a Caddis for the bluegill, do you let it sit still or give it some movement? I can't wait to take my four year old out and let him play with some bluegill on the fly rod this summer! I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Zach Bearden Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Walk downstream for a while. You'll pass a small riffle then it's just down around the next bend. "Its clearly Bree time baby!" I can't wait to take my four year old out and let him play with some bluegill on the fly rod this summer! It depends. I'll let it sit still for about 10 or 15 seconds, if it lasts that long before getting hit, then give it some movement. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
