Guest csfishinfool Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I'm thinking about making my first trip to Stockton this year on Saturday. I will likely put in at Roark - anybody have any suggestions for where to go and what to use to catch bass and/or walleye? I will be there on saturday also, probably going to put in at Mutton Creek though. It's all going to depend on water temp. If its in the 50's in the backs of the creeks then a square bill crankbait will be my go to. On the main lake around Roark I'll be throwing jerkbaits and some jigs, as well as a shad rap. But that will all depending on the water color. You can also get after them on a spinnerbait if that water is in the fifties. I really doubt it will be that warm but we will just have to see. Sons creek is left out of the boat wramp. I would hit the secondary points, and steeper rocky banks. The last deep water in the back of the creek is always good this time of year also.
