Members Zac Seale Posted March 18, 2011 Members Posted March 18, 2011 Caught 4 whites last night from about 6:00-8:00. Pretty slow for me really, but i saw others catching quite a few closer to the Orleans bridge. Water was still pretty fast and muddy, but saw a guy with at least a limit and a couple walleye so they are there. caught 2 on chartruese road runner with chartruese curly tailed grub, and the other 2 on white roadrunners with white/silver swimming minnow.
OzarksRiverman Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Anybody been to the Little Sac today? How's the water? I was going to head up there this evening, just wondering if it rained too much.
Members moduck38834 Posted March 21, 2011 Members Posted March 21, 2011 Flood warnings earlier today for the Big Sac I know....but didn't go today myself. Was there yesterday when the lightning and hail started in. Caught a few right before the front really hit, and then got out of there since I was in the kayak. A few sows, mostly bucks....and a nice crappie! I'd say this weekend will be the weekend to be out with these temps this week. Hope you did well if you got out....
OzarksRiverman Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Went to Taylor bridge early this morning. Didn't catch anything. I moved up to Orleans bridge and caught 1 sow and 2 males on white roadrunner with a white swimming minnow.
Members tracman86 Posted March 23, 2011 Author Members Posted March 23, 2011 Went back on Friday with the old man ending up catching 10 whites good size below the steel bridge white rooster tails and blue swimming minnow.
Members JimG Posted February 8, 2012 Members Posted February 8, 2012 Are you guys fishing from the bank or are you wading the river?

I live just a few minutes from there and will be checking on it a few times a week...I will try to keep everyone posted when the White bass start up the river... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
