Members trouthappy Posted March 7, 2012 Members Posted March 7, 2012 I don't have a boat so I was going to come up and wade for the white bass. What's the best stretch to wade? Where's this Taylor Bridge everyone is talking about?
Members Big Bass Shawn Posted March 8, 2012 Members Posted March 8, 2012 I fished Taylors today for about an hour. No whites, but did catch a few largemouth. I was using a yellow sonic vibric rooster tail. Last year I would catch my limit of whites within 45 min to an hour on that lure using a VERY fast retrieve. Whites are making their way to Taylors though, shouldnt be too much longer There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
Members Saltydawg Posted March 8, 2012 Members Posted March 8, 2012 Go North my friend anyone catchin any eyes yet ? Would it be crazy to throw a stick bait in the river ?
Members JimG Posted March 8, 2012 Members Posted March 8, 2012 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I was always under the impression that by the time the whites were going up river the walleyes were about done.
dennis boatman Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Always a few in there year round... A strike indicator is just a bobber...

dennis boatman Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 took the kayak to Taylor Bridge. About 15 cars there. I went upstream and caught one decent white bass and several small ones. Did not see anyone else catch a fish and many had been there all afternoon. A strike indicator is just a bobber...
