superfly Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I would like to report FIVE large otters as big as SEALS. I spotted them about three hundred yards up stream from where Spring Creek dumps into the 11point. The biggest one was right at the mouth of the creek. Spring Creek is about 3 miles downstream of Cane Bluff. Please trap and remove them. Thanks, Superfly
Brian Sloss Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I hope there is some hyperbole in your size estimate, Superfly! That hole at the mouth of Spring Creek is a great spot for smallies but a couple of oversize otters could do some damage to it. superfly Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 No joke they were BIG. I bet they averaged 20 to 25lbs a piece.
Trout Commander Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 No joke they were BIG. I bet they averaged 20 to 25lbs a piece. That hole at the mouth of Spring Creek is used to be a great spot for smallies. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.
