Members Dapper Dan Man Posted April 9, 2011 Members Posted April 9, 2011 Well me, my grandpa, my fishing buddy, and his dad went to beaver last night and didn't catch anything, didn't look like anyone was catching anything till we saw one guy pull up a full stringer and leave... we fished till just after dark no bites at all. I'm not sure if its something we are doing(or not doing) but maybe the whites just arent back in the creeks yet. btw we were using purple/whtie/motor oil swimming minnows, worms, and live minnows. Eagles may soar, but weasles don't get sucked into jet engines - Unknown
slider Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Move to the first shoal and stay until after dark throwing black, purple or blue swimming minnows or betels. We have been doing good after dark on James River. DONT EVER GIVE UP MOSES WAS A BASKET CASE ONCE!

[/quot They've been going strong in there for a full month strong. A lot of limits caught in the dark. I think it's slowed over there and Galena is now on fire. We did see a ton of people at Shadow Rock fishing Swan Creek today.
