Nighthawk Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 fished the river friday with my czech nymph rig and got a bunch, including a 17" rainbow. my 1st trip there with that outfit and found it very easy to learn. river needs some rain. cfs is very low.

Just right for wading in my opinion, could use maybe a little more for drifting, but not much. Nighthawk Posted April 9, 2011 Author Posted April 9, 2011 What type of rod are you rocking on that outfit?? 10' 4 wt i bought in a kit on eBay and built myself. the seller is ro6231. have about $70 in the whole rod. plus fun to build'em. longer, lighter rods are handy for this style of nymphing.

Agreed, 500+ cfs is not too bad at all....wouldn't mind seeing it higher but like Justin said, it's a LOT better than it was this winter. My Youtube Channel
