Evolution Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 New to Stockton as I have only tried the dam with minimal luck but happen to pass by this arm earlier and there were lots of car parked on the side of the road at the end of the bridge. Has anyone fished this section of the lake? Are the chances of catching anything worth the time? Might have to try it out once I get a day off.
zarraspook Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 If you are on hwy 54 and sac arm ... you are looking at part of Truman lake... As the crow flies, Stockton is 15-17 miles south.... This time of year (when you see vehicles on the side of the road ) it could be either fisherman or mushrooners !!!!! Your best bet is to just walk down to the creek ( if they are fishing, there will be a WELL worn path )....... Members jbeenemd Posted April 10, 2011 Members Posted April 10, 2011 A friend of mine that lives close to that area gave me a report that they are catching some crappie at that crossing. I can not personally confirm that. I usually go to Stockton. Jackie
