motroutbum Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Here's a little something that i have summed up from reading about cleaning your boots and its what i personally use. If you happen to come out west or even back home to help stop the spread of diddymo, the NZ mud snail, and even whirling diesease, please dont use bleach as it does not kill the spores or larvae of the snails. Use a 50/50 solution of 409 and water and let them soak for an hour or even overnight.and/or freeze them. BLEACH DOESN'T WORK There are two types of people. Those who dream dreams and wish, then there are the do'ers. I am a do'er!
