Kansas Fly Fisher Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I also have a couple of prayer requests The first is for the family of a paramedic friend that passed away while on the job in Topeka. I ask that you keep them in your prayers through this tough time. He was 38 years old at the time of his passing. The second is for the family of the Girard Footbal Coach. He was moving a portable field goal when it came in contact with a high power line. I also ask that you remember the young men of the football team that were present and witnessed this horrible event. They will need the soothing touch of the hand of God to make it through this. Thank you for keeping these people in your prayers. John Jackson Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
timbuktom Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Kansas Fly Fisher, Thanks for sharing the needs of the families who have lost their loved ones. Nothing we can do or say will be more effective than praying for them during this time and being there for them. Father, these people are hurting right now. They have had their lives torn apart and are in need of Your special touch. Only You can reach into the very depths of their hearts and ease the pain these deaths have caused. Thank You for allowing us to help bear their load right now. Most of all, bring to the forefront the importance of our eternal destination so that we all can order our lives while we still can. Thanks again, John, for sharing. Tom
