T-RockJaws Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Water Patrol is suggesting people stay off the water for a few days. I would give it at least til the weekend before I tried to get on it.
Members Fat Boy Posted April 26, 2011 Members Posted April 26, 2011 You don't want to be at Cape Fair I live here. NO ramps open debris still coming down and rolling mud. Raining now and more storms on the way .
Members bigfish1259 Posted April 27, 2011 Members Posted April 27, 2011 has anyone fished this area sense the high water and how safe is to boat? I spoke with Stan White at the Cape Fair Boat Dock yesterday, he said they pulled the dock in 300' no ramps open and there was a huge log jam up by Virgin Bluff. We cancelled thhe Relay for Life tournament saturday. Looks like it's going to be a little while before things settle down.
Members bblades10 Posted April 27, 2011 Members Posted April 27, 2011 Went down around 2pm just to take a look. Wont be getting out at Cape Fair for a while.... Also attached a photo looking over the bridge at flat creek, water isn't far from the road there. Talked to a guy from the corp while I was there and he said they aren't expecting it to get any higher.
