Members Capblue Posted May 5, 2011 Members Posted May 5, 2011 Heading up this weeekend(5/7-5/8) to get away from the concrete jungle for a little bit. Normally we float/camp from the 65 bridge to S. Maumee. Looking for some advice on whether this section will be fishable by Saturday or do I need to look at a different section that will be better. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hubs out fishing it as we speak. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ home waters = Tombigbee River, Mississippi River, Buffalo River, and S. Sylamore Creek, S. Pacific
Members delta_queen Posted May 5, 2011 Members Posted May 5, 2011 no bites yet. he reports. still too swift/high. Floating sure is great tho. color = perfect. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ home waters = Tombigbee River, Mississippi River, Buffalo River, and S. Sylamore Creek, S. Pacific
flytyer57 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I've heard that when Crooked Creek and the Buffalo are blown out, Sylamore is the place to go. Haven't been there yet but maybe I should get out there one of these days. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
