Patrick M Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I am heading to the Niangua Arm of LOZ and i was wondering how the fishing is and how the water level and color are for the coming weekend. we are staying at a resort and plan on fishing crappie and bass and if something else was biting trying that too we will have a boat. any help would be great. thank you
Members FishinJack Posted May 13, 2011 Members Posted May 13, 2011 I had a guide trip up there the other day. Water carity was a bit off color compared to the rest of the lake. But we did fine, fished for bass only. Several keepers and a five pound kicker. Bass are spawning and shallow. Berkley Sinking Worms (like a Senko). Some heavy rain right now, might muddy up the water a little more. Try a spinnerbait if the water is muddy. Jack
