Members fishinmachine Posted May 12, 2011 Members Posted May 12, 2011 OK, the water's been there for more than a week...how about the fish? I was below Powersite a week ago with Bull Shoals still rising and Powersite flowing hard. Not much happening yet with the fishing at that time. Am heading that way in the morning, has the striper or walleye bite picked up, yet? Coming from Texas back home to Missouri and hoping the bite is on. FM
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 As you probably know it is very close to full and there isn't a lot of bank space left to access good water. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
tippet7 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 As you probably know it is very close to full and there isn't a lot of bank space left to access good water. There is no bank at all. River Run park is closed. The water in Shadow Rock park is ABOVE the basketball goals, thats what..12feet? down to Swan Creek, the water is above the power poles. I work in town and everyday i cross the bridge on 76 and halfway expect the water to be sloshing around on the deck of the bridge. You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Jack Jones Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I work in the area too and only go down that way occasionally. After that report though, Im going to have to take a peek and satisfy my curious nature. Kinda like the folks that rubber-neck the car crashes.
